Job Programs & Training

Resume Building

The staff at The Well work closely with each participant to identify skills and passions. Working together, staff and participants build a professional resume that the participant uses to apply to both volunteer and employment opportunities.

Interview Skills

Participants spend time learning and practicing interview skills with House Coaches so they are prepared for their job search experience. Practicing these skills helps to build confidence both professionally and socially.

Job Coaching

In their volunteer and career positions, participants will have opportunities to build the job skills and etiquette that are necessary for success in the work force. From operating cash registers to perfecting their customer service skills, participants thrive in their hands-on experiences.

Worthwhile Thrift

Participants have the opportunity to work at our Worthwhile Thrift stores in order to gain retail experience in a low-pressure environment. Worthwhile Thrift offers participants an employment "stepping stone" as they learn alongside our dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Supporting Survivors Together

We work with invaluable community partners who offer advanced job preparation, training and career programs. These organizations provide unique opportunities for participants and case management support for our staff.
